But, yeah, there's a lot of things we can take under consideration, and you'll take under, you know, player skill sets and try to put them in the best place to be successful.
And, you know, it's a good group.
I think at the start here there will be some off days.
Yeah.
Activated Saya from the injured list, designated Dylan Carlson for assignment, and placed Phil Maton on the injured list and recalled Ethan Roberts.
How long has the Maton thing been going on?
I think it's kind of just gradually gotten a little bit worse.
Obviously, he was pitching with it, but we saw a real โ I think we saw real effects to it in his last outing in Tampa.
The velocity was down, and it was just a case of just not being able to sit into his back leg and drive off the mound, and it clearly affected him.
We need to get rid of that, and he's dealt with this issue in the past, and so we just need to get that out of there and get him back to normal.
I don't know how we're going to treat it right now, actually.
We just kind of had the conversation, so there's a plan in place, and we haven't kind of got down the road with that yet.
preliminary sense of how long no i mean it's not an arm issue so i think from the throwing perspective because it's we're not going to stop throwing like we're not going to lose a lot of arm arm stuff here um worst case it'll be plyo balls the first you know three days but we're not going to lose a lot of throwing here
We're not, you know, this is really at the highest level when it starts to bug them, you know, when the push off gets, you know, max effort push off when it starts to bother them.
So without knowing the plan, I don't think we'll need to stop throwing because it's really just at the last level that it starts to bother them.
Yeah, I mean, look, we're putting, like I said, one of our middle order bats back in the lineup.
We're putting somebody who had 30 home runs and drove in a ton of runs for us back in the lineup.
So it's a big addition for sure.
Yeah, I think we'll be somewhat cautious, I think, over this first week of how we get him back.
But I think he played five or six days in Knoxville, and so that's a really good sign.
