And even ultimately for them to lose as well.

I think there was just, it was a special tournament there.

I have a theory on this and it's because for the first time in a long time we're looking at a Liverpool squad that needs so much doing to it that you almost look at every player and feel like you're uncertain about them.

I think that in the past when you think of the great Jurgen Klopp side, you even think of the side that the slot inherits during that transfer window when we obviously don't sign anyone but Chiesa but you're looking at other players.

you're you're not you're looking at final pieces of the puzzle you're looking at players who can come in and make the squad greater and make the sum of his parts greater i think at the moment you're looking at a team who needs a lot repaired onto it and so everything feels a bit uncertain because everything feels like a risk does that make sense because if the if the player that you pay 100 million for given the inflated market that we're in doesn't quite work out like then you're gonna find yourselves in trouble so um

Yeah, it's a difficult market and it's because it doesn't feel as if there's any real value in it.

I think if you are going to spend that amount of money, then the value is in a player who's scoring goals for France at the World Cup, who has won two European Cups and has made a big impact within that team.

And I think, you know, I've said in one of the previous Breakfast Wraps, I'm calm given that the season starts sort of two weeks later.
