But no, last season is tough in a number of ways.

What we tried to do is rather than

Rather than focusing on trying to spend our time getting a small amount of subscribers at a time when it's really difficult to do so, we focus on the following season.

And I know we're going to talk a little bit about that throughout all of this, but rather than spending that time thinking about what's going on at that time, we think about, well, how can we run into next season?

Is that fair?

That's a really interesting point because obviously you say engagement, they're engagement, you think of as numbers, but actually like the way in which I look at our engagement, particularly around comments on social or whatever, like what's meaningful engagement?

You know, what is our fans and is it positive or is it constructive feedback?

And if it is negative, why and how have we got to that point?

And I think like we've always tried to be the reasonable, rational fan.

I think that's what the Anfield Draft's always been good at in moments where it's,

it's difficult.

I think last season, you know, I've been here 10 years in six months, which is fucking terrifying that I say that out loud now.

But amazing.

It's nice today.

Yeah, I've just realised.

And like in the 10 years that I've been here,

last season was the most difficult in terms of the Anfield Raps tone because we don't sit in a room with agendas and decide what the Anfield Raps are going to say or think of something because it's not one voice, it's a platform for our contributors to be able to talk about their opinions.

But because we will never tell our contributors what to say, then at different times after games when people are frustrated, particularly around a couple of the games last season where we're inside the ground, there was real frustration.

So then that comes out into the immediate post-match.
