And so if Liverpool then win the league and they're at this point where stocks at their highest, I think what they've
done strategically is thought we will use this moment to um to to essentially maybe not overhaul.
I don't think I don't think they had planned this to the extent, the surely the extent of the overhaul that's happened here, but I think they've looked at it and gone this is the point at which we are most likely to get Alexander Isaac and that's a player that we really like or you know or um Florian Verts or whatever.
I think what surprised me is
is the that it's not just an overhaul in personnel, but at the time it was an overhaul um in uh in in how we play.
And it's almost like Liverpool have reached the top and then r rather than build on uh how they got to the top, they've decided that they would rip it all apart and that they would start again.
And so, you know, there was a lot of talk and I know Cariger mentioned it in
The um on Monday Night Football the other night about the idea of building a dynasty.
You know, if you look at dynasties over the years and you think of you know, obviously Man United under Alex Ferguson, you think of Man City, what they have, the correlation through all of this is that they are continually replacing players as they go rather than choosing one summer to do it uh almost totally, and then it's the impact that lasts.
year than has on this year.
So, you know, me and Patty Fitz have have been talking over the summer, and it was interesting that Cariger mentioned it because Patty Fitz has been saying it to me quite a bit.
He's been saying about, you know, one bad window can be disastrous because it can have an impact on the following.
And if you look at the some of the players that have left, so you know, a lot of these as you mentioned, as Adam mentioned, were were decisions.
Liverpool have made decisions on Nunes, on Quanza, on Kelleher, on Joe
Jones, there are things obviously out of their control.
Jada being the main one, but you think of like, you know, even Leus Diaz, Leo Diaz wanted to leave the the the previous summer, Robertson, you know, runs down his contract.
But Salah, Salah's an interesting one because the impact that the seal of a player can have on another, and I use Mohammed Salah as this.
So we uh lose uh Trent.
Now that's obviously out of our uh out of our decision, but we sign, say, Florian.
converts and we sign Isaac and we decide that we're going to play a little bit differently at up top, that has an impact on Mohamed Salah.
