And I thought, that's a good question, because he's the best to me.
He's he's the best interview for me.
I can totally relate to that, Mac D. Well, let's finish by saying about Stan that he almost pulled a rabbit out of the hat with Murphy, Dickinson, and Doc.
I would have waved the white flag a long time ago on this group in terms of our ability to win a Stanley Cup, but Stan didn't.
And, you know, he had me believing at the end of the year that we had a chance, had it been for the injuries.
Well, and the fashion of which they lost.
I mean, it was quite clear at the end of the series that the best team won.
And we didn't get unlucky.
We got outplayed by the Anaheim Mighty Ducks, which I didn't think would happen going in.
I thought Anaheim was a really good opponent for us.
But I think...
normally our top two lines are going to significantly severely outplay the opposition's top two lines and because of the injuries it didn't happen i mean connor was definitely muted uh by a lot i mean he he didn't score at the level he normally does especially the first two games he got shut out uh he ended up
minus a bunch on the series which rarely happens for him three empty net goals against yeah but i mean he was minus eight or something where he's normally plus five all right he's minus five and that's a pretty significant difference and again i don't want to like anaheim was better we're both conceding that yeah injuries were a big factor does it make you appreciate dry subtle even more
To me, when I evaluate and I did it today and listened to the press conference, I mean, he made the most sense to me.
He's the best spokesman, I think, for the Oilers.
He jives with what I'm thinking when he speaks.
I mean, Connor...
He has a difficult time in those situations and had a difficult time yesterday talking about how to get a greater impact from guys other than he and Connor to try and include more guys and struggled a bit to answer that.
But, you know, Leon, I give him a lot of credit.
I mean, he's an honest guy.
