So, what I want you to consider is something that I call a time bank.
And that is every Monday morning, let's say, when you wake up and your eyes open at whatever time of day it is, for me, it's quarter past four in the morning, four fifteen a.m.
I'll get up and as soon as my eyes open.
My time bank starts ticking.
In other words, my 168 hours are starting to get deducted each week.
And what my job is as a business owner.
as a family man is to get to the end of that week.
got everything that I wanted to have got done, done, and still have time left in my time bank to choose what I want to do with it.
Whether I want to go and watch my daughter play football or my other daughter go to gymnastics, whether I want to go and see my grandkids, whether I decide to go to gym, take my wife out for a bit of lunch.
I want time left at the end of my week in my time bank.
But many of us, because we're trying to cram too much in to that hundred and sixty eight hours, because we're trying to do everything in as business and we haven't got these previous six things in areas in place, what happens is we get to the end of the week and there's no time left.
The egg time is empty.
It's run dry.
But we're looking down at the end of the week thinking, well, I didn't get that done.
We're behind on that job.
I should have done this for my web designer.
I should have got this cash in.
I should have sent them invoices out.
I forgot to send that email.
I didn't send that quote out.
