Let's start with that stat that really jumps out.

20 shots, only one on target.

Why was there a lack of offensive production here, Ali?

Well, I think, you know, they were just the semifinal exposed those issues in the final third.

Once again, Jess Carter, you know, hit the nail on the head in saying they weren't clinical enough in front of goal.

Then we saw that, those opportunities being taken advantage of in the bronze medal game where they were actually able to finish and win 4-0.

I think those moments really matter and they have to be more precise in those opportunities because you see Corinthians only having a few chances a game and then they win by scoring one of them, putting them in the back of the net.

So I think defensively there was just that opportunity that Corinthians put away.

But yes, they need to be more clinical in front of goal.

And that's just a step forward for preseason.

I think these are just getting the kinks out, right?

There's a couple of new players added to the roster.

You know that the relationships are building.

We're missing one of the best forwards in the world for Gotham to be able to put the ball in the back of the net.

So there are a few key pieces that I think they're still trying to work out.

And the team has only had not even two months off of time to rest and recover and recharge for the season coming up.

Obviously, this is an amazing opportunity.

This is the first chance that you have this tournament ever in the world.

But once again, there's a couple of teams that are different stages in their career of the year.

I'm not surprised.
