Yeah, I think, you know, being a new mom, it's like, whoa, you know, it's like, oh my gosh, you don't realize until you're in it all the things.
And it's like this crazy concept of like, you're so thankful.
It's like the best thing ever, but it's also the most challenging.
Like I've been stretched, you know, and like the no sleep.
You're like, oh my gosh, I'm keeping this little human alive.
But also it's just like there's so much love there.
And yeah, it's been nice kind of just like being in a little newborn bubble, surviving in that.
Is there anything that has surprised you from not really knowing the challenges of being a mom before that you might not have thought of?
I don't know if there's anything that surprises me, but my appreciation for moms literally has skyrocketed from my sister to you to my own mom, my mother-in-law.
Literally, just the appreciation that I have for a mom has just gone through the roof.
The last year has been a different kind of journey for you.
And I know you just touched on it a little bit, but becoming a mom and stepping away, you know, from on field, how has that time changed your perspective specifically about football and then about yourself?
Yeah, I think it's made me realize like how much I love the game and obviously like stepping away and like,
creating life and becoming a mom has been so amazing but I'm just like so excited to now be able to step into coming back and then having Josie be right along my side and just like seeing all the other moms that have done it before has given me like it can it can you can do it like it's possible and yeah I'm just like so excited.
What did you miss the most when you were watching from the sidelines?
I missed my teammates and just the everyday laughs and even just the challenges of going through a season together.
