One door was on the back of the veranda facing the garden, and the second was between the patio and the rest of the house.

That meant that someone could not only get inside the patio from outside, but could also get into the rest of the house.

Amy's family's financial situation wasn't the best, so depending upon the price, either both doors would get fixed or just the door leading to the garden.

But the price was reasonable, thus the locksmith lady could change both locks, and

The patio was then perfectly sealed, however, according to her, the glass door leading to the garden was weak, and someone could easily open it if they were motivated.
