I was facing away from the hallway while doing this, so I didn't see this next part, but Anton said that he saw one of the guys go into the bathroom that was between the door to the gym and the stairwell.

I would usually go back up to the apartment when I was done because Anton's workouts are longer than mine, but I wasn't about to go into that creepy stairwell alone, after all of that.

So I went and sat next to Anton and waited for him to be done.

The next time the guy looked out from the bathroom he saw me with Anton, who's a pretty large guy at six foot two, and he walked out of the bathroom and left.

Nothing else happened, and when Anton was done we left and didn't see any of the guys again.

We think that the guy in the bathroom was supposed to be watching for me to leave, so that when I went into the stairwell some of the other guys would be there and probably take me out onto the road or into a vehicle or something like that.

But when they saw that I was with Anton, they decided I wasn't worth it.

This is obviously speculation and might not be what was happening, but I can't help but think that that was their plan.

From then on I wouldn't walk to or from the gym by myself.

We moved not too long ago, and I feel much safer in our new place.
