And, you know, I had some young guys in Ottawa that were that.
There were some guys in L.A.
But towards the tail end of their career, when you look at a guy like him, he's right in the middle, you know, low to middle part of his career where he's getting ready or he is going to be in his prime.
And I think his ability to make plays –
uh, under pressure and his ability to be calm in big moments is something that, um, you don't have on every team.
And I, and I had an opportunity to watch him run the power play.
And I just think there's a skillset there that, that is undervalued, uh, or maybe he's underappreciated, uh,
Because of the fact that you have McDavid and Dreisaitl, and say, well, he's with those guys.
Well, I've seen him with not those guys at the World Championship, and he can run a power play as good as anyone in the National Hockey League.
I thought he defended a lot better than the reputation gives him, and I look forward to coaching this guy, and I think this guy's going to have a great year.
Yeah, you do.
And as you know, the teams that win use all their players.
And I think it's imperative that everyone feels a part of it.
And I think that's one thing with Mike as the head coach is he's going to make everyone important.
Everyone has to have a job.
Everyone has to feel like they're contributing.
And I think...
You know, we're spread out on the back end.
Guys are going to have to have jobs and feel important.
But ultimately, if you want to win the big prize, everyone has to be important, and you need all 20 going the right direction.
