I think that would be, that would be something I would tell people is to, you know, don't, don't worry about whether or not you're going to screw up.
Ultimately the dog will be fine.
We don't care.
And you'll have a data point right or wrong.
And I also quite often tell people, and a lot of people think I'm crazy when I tell them this, when you are in the middle of a training session or a performance,
there is no room for feelings.
If you are feeling something, you are not fully present with the dog.
Feel something before, feel something after.
Yeah.
Yeah.
When I'm really involved in the moment with a dog, I am not aware of feeling anything.
I'm not angry.
I'm not happy.
I'm not sad.
I'm just 100% focused on that moment.
Hmm.
I would say is it working?
I mean I was pretty fortunate when I started to be in the middle of nowhere without really anybody to learn from because I just had to go do it.
And now there's so much information that you could spend your whole life just gathering information and meanwhile your dog is sitting there not getting trained.
So at some point pick a coach, pick an instructor, start doing the work.
