And I just, I get kind of riled up about that because it's just, it's dishonest and it doesn't help people.
And it promotes a fantasy that just makes people feel like shit.
Which is crazy because you can read all these books about cold showers and all this shit that you do to be more resilient as a person, but in dog training, no, no, no, no.
Like, I think, I think a lot of people are unaware of that.
I think a lot of people aren't aware that there there's dog, there's dog sport, there's dog agility, but then there's this whole world of people who are just struggling to have a pet they can live with and are
paying a lot of money that they don't have for procedures that aren't ultimately going to work.
And then they're told that their only option because this, well, we didn't use any punishment, so good for us.
But now your only option is to euthanize the dog.
I think a lot of people are not aware that that is happening.
Yeah, that's a tough question.
Yeah.
I think one of the big things that I tell people a lot is it doesn't matter whether you get it right or you get it wrong.
Because if you get it right, great, you got it right.
You can get it right again.
If you get it wrong,
a couple things are going to happen.
You tried.
You're going to learn something.
And that thing that was wrong in this context might actually be right in another context.
But if you're so wrapped up in being perfect all the time that you never try anything that you might end up getting wrong, you're not really ever going to make any progress.
