And it was like a personal development book for teenagers.

And then we learned about how to write a press release.

And that got us onto national television in Australia a bunch of times.

And we really leveraged off that to generate around 100 different newspaper and magazine articles.

And it kind of really put me on the map.

And it helped me to expand that first company that I had.

into seven different countries.

And it's actually still running to this day.

Dale, what did you grow that to?

Yeah, so we went from sort of really nothing to around $300,000 within a couple of within two years.

Yeah, the book was really the starting point for the whole journey because it really gave us the credibility that we needed to get the attention of the media because at the time, being 19 years of age, we couldn't afford to run ads on the television or radio or in the newspapers.

So the only way to get the message out there was actually through people writing about us and sharing our story.

That was kind of the launch pad.

And then I got kind of busy for the next four years, expanding that business.

And then a few years later, back in 2000.

Yeah, in terms of sales, we got to around about half a million dollars in terms of revenue.

But that's when I kind of decided I wanted to start looking at some other business ventures and had this passion for publishing.

So I came up with this series of books called the Secrets Exposed series, and we published 15 books in the space of two and a half years.

So that was kind of a record in Australia.

So all of these books were called, were interview books that I did where I would pick a topic, like for example, marketing experts, small business owners, great public speakers, property millionaires.
