We'll sit there for a long, long time of previous games, watching inside 50 kicks, the way they move up the ground, behind the goals.

And I love it just as much as he does.

So it's probably my favorite time of the week.

And my wife's wondering why I spend so much time at the club.

But he's just a student of the game and wants to know everything.

And then how am I going to beat them?

What's the best way that I can beat them, play to my strengths, take away theirs, and go from there?

Early in the year, our defense wasn't where we wanted it to be.

And we spoke earlier about the injuries and the way that we're playing and the way you attack often impacts how you can defend as well.

So there was a few things in our offense that was opening us up in defense that we had to address.

And our defense,

Yeah, it wasn't at the level that we wanted it to be early in the year, but we've been able to bring that back, especially the last probably four, five, six weeks, which has been really, really pleasing.

And when you're missing guys, and I'm talking just from my end down back in like a Jack Payne and a Darcy Gardner and these guys who are really good, and you lose a Starcevich, those Dow defenders, that can have an impact on that side of things as well.

But the group's been unreal with,

seeing the issues and addressing them and getting it done.

Yeah, good question.

Started at the Lions as a development coach and then this is my fourth year at the club, third as an assistant line coach.

And I'm a bit of an open book when it comes to my football journey.

I don't want to pigeonhole myself as just being a senior coach or working in the other side of footy or anything like that.
