Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene says she'll resign from Congress on January 5th.
Greene rose to prominence as one of President Trump's biggest supporters, but over the past several months, the two have regularly fought, in particular over the release of the Epstein files.
In a video announcing her decision, Greene said she was tired of being called traitor and wacky.
Green also said Republicans are likely to lose next year's midterm elections.
President Trump renewed efforts to end the war in Ukraine this week with news of a 28-point peace plan, but NPR's Franco Ordonez reports that international observers are urging caution about the proposal's practicality.
