Thousands of people took to the streets in Mexico City on Saturday to protest growing crime, corruption, and what they say is impunity for committing violent crime.

The protest was organized by young people.

It was the latest in a series of protests by the group, which has received support from older members of the country's opposition party.

Protesters were met with tear gas from Mexican police.
