But nobody called her Irene.

I don't ever remember anybody calling her Irene.

She was known as Dukka.

Dukka.

Dukka or Duk.

And when I asked her how this came about, she said it was when she was a child in a pram or a pushchair or whatever it was, and people go, oh, Dukka, Dukka, Dukka.

You know how people go like, well, they don't do it anymore, I expect, but, you know, chucking a child under the chin.

And it became a nickname for her, Duk, Dukka.

Dukka, Dukka, Dukka.

But my dad always called her Duk.

And everybody called her Dukka.

Nobody ever called her.

She was never referred to as Irene.
