I thought that was strategic where he reminded everyone that he was doing

it the right way with the right method.

And I thought it was pitching himself just subliminally against James a little bit in that model.

11 years and with no experience in another club is not a resume I would even contemplate, if it were me.

Just on that, before we move off that, what did you think of the pitch last?

I mean, we had an extraordinary night at TB last Tuesday night.

We had Brad Scott exclusively on the agenda setters who handled himself spectacularly well.

And then an hour later, we had James Hurd off the top, also done very well by footy classifieds.

pitching himself in bold terms is why he wants it.

It was one of those old school nights of news television where there was yarns left, right and centre and it just showed I think how far the TV game has come a little bit in comparison to say newspapers where they've always owned these stories back in the day.

Like now you're seeing these things play out on free-to-air television on 7 and 9 that night with the two biggest stories and

each having its own take on it.

And also, I thought Brad Scott handled himself perfectly in that situation.

Yeah, he did.

Magnificently.

He hit the right tone.

He reminded everyone of his caliber of person.

And I thought that was a great decision by Brad to do that interview.
