Now but but before we go forward, Damo, we need to take a few steps back.
Now for those of us the Chiefs generation, I remember some of these shows
Back in the day in the seventies and eighties, there was an explosion of shows showing off this wide brown land in which we live.
The fauna and the flora of the Leyland Brothers.
Well, Russell first one that came to mind in this space back in the day was the Leyland Brothers.
Travel all over the countryside, Askalans, Askalans, travel all over the countryside, Askaleland, brother.
Do you remember them in their comivan tubes?
They used to explore the country?
Vaguely.
What were their names?
Uh the Leyland Brothers Chief.
And then after that came my personal favourite, a chap that I looked up to as a kid by the name of Albie Mangles.
This was a man that explored the globe with his uh dog Sam and there'd always be a beautiful girl on his arm, say her name was Doris, and it'd get to the end of the episode and Alby'd go, Well I had to choose between Sam and Doris, so Sam and I farewell to Doris and we continued on our way.
Another example.
Then, Chief, my particular favourite in this space, showing Australian people what their country has to offer.
