So do you think that renewable, because like you say, it's expensive to build, but cheap in terms of the output long term.
So is the renewable that we've built adding to the cost of energy bills at the minute, or is it subtracting from them, do you think?
Which is not happening at the minute, obviously.
I don't want to say we're the most expensive in the world, but we're definitely up there in terms of the energy costs.
And first of all, why is that?
Why is the UK out in front in that metric?
And then I want to get into the pricing of how the gas informs the price of the energy that we pay.

At the moment we are.
And why is that?
Is that because gas dictates the price?
Are you saying by 2050 that people's energy bills won't have declined?
They'll still be this price?
If you're a small business owner, freelancer or sole trader, then I want to tell you about one of my favorite finance tools in the world, Xero.
It's accountancy software and we use it across all of my businesses.
So this podcast, my channel and the newsletter.
Xero is great because it makes accounting as easy as it can be.
And I say that confidently because of my mom.
