But uh what they favored in in in how they drove the car was no it wasn't it wasn't the same.

So he he was you know, I think he he liked that comparison.
Yeah, I think what you th that that is true and I think that that would hold up.
Um, but I think it was exaggerated by the traits of the McLaren and the Renault.
The McLaren was a very um front end uh dependent car that had a lot of front down force and were able to run it very efficiently as a result.
Uh the Renault was a completely different philosophy.
It was uh rear weight biased and therefore
rear aero biased.
And so the front could be difficult to load up.
So the way that Alonso used to load it up was with that very brutal style on the steering, to bring the tires quickly up to get down to their range and then get get some response from them and then proceed from there.
Um Riken in that car would not have been anything like as impressive as he was in McLaren.
Um
probably Alonso in that McLaren wouldn't have been as quick as Raikkonen.
So I think, you know, you you you yeah, I think Rikenen probably at that the the McLaren Rikkenen probably could drive that car faster than anybody around at that time.
Um I don't think you could have plugged anybody else into that car that would have been as fast.
But as we saw subsequently
Alonso's adaptation was was you know m much, much higher.
Um and when they got into a difficult car without a front end there was no comparison.
Alonso destroyed them at Ferrari in twenty fourteen.
