We've had Red Bull eras, we've had Mercedes eras.
But I think uh the what we have at the moment, I think it's a little bit more you know
spread out.
It's it's th there is more um potential for for the all the top teams at least to to compete on a a level playing field with each other.
But the I think w if you've got if you've come up with a a real good innovation, it's usually because you've followed a line of thought and then researched that line
line of thought and got masses and masses of data on that line of thought to come up with the ultimate iteration and then you put it on the car.
So
when another team sees it, they say, Oh, that's that's obviously work 'cause it's gone two seconds faster.
We need to do that.
How have they done it?
Well that doesn't that's not the matter of a moment usually.
That's a matter of it can be month or a year or even more of research going off in different directions and getting it wrong.
And all that costs money, all that costs um wind tunnel time that you know you're limited on and so the combination of technical freedom and and cost caps could o actually work against the the evening hour.
out of the the competitive field because you might actually spend money going in a load of dead ends rather than coming up with your own innovation.
So yeah, I di I I'd be fascinated to see, but I don't I think the uh current owners are probably seeing it being so successful that they would see that as gambling unnecessarily.
And I think that's
That's the bottom line and I think the more popular it becomes the more stifle you're gonna get on technical innovation and that's just the way of the world unfortunately.
Smaller and lighter and tires that you can push on with w without have to compromise your pace um in in terms of uh you know heat degrad.
So we we've sort of got away a bit from that from from the worst of that, but I think we need to go a bit further with that.
And smaller and lighter would certainly help with that.
