And her husband is in very poor health.

So she's taking care of people in there.

And she became the focal point of the story.

Like, wow, this woman is really something else.

She grew up in Oakland and has been through all kinds of things.

And it was a classic Pittsburgh home complete with the Mr. Rogers mints and the Steelers pillows and a Christmas tree that had been converted to a Valentine's tree.

And she's just a wonderful woman.

So we talked for a long time.

And she remembers she lived in the house right next door, which I believe would be 1139.

And so the McCarthy's lived in 1137.

She lived in 1139.

All their kids would play together, including obviously Mike McCarthy.

She calls him Michael.

They would play wiffle ball in the backyard, stretching across multiple yards.

They'd go down to the end of the street to Cavalry Catholic Cemetery and play in the cemetery, touch football and hide and seek and things like that.

And it was just, you know, I felt like I was walking around in the 1970s.

On Friday.

And so I wrote the story mostly about her and about her remembrances of the McCarthy's who now live in a different part of Greenfield.

Mike bought them a nice piece of land.

They're up on a hill overlooking the city and Mrs. McCarthy.
