And when I left her house, she was on the porch.
She's like, oh, I wish I had my awning up if I'd known people were going to come over.
And then the last thing she said to me was, write nice things or I'll come after you.
And one of the keys to the story was her son, Dan.
He works for UPMC, and he also helps and works with special needs kids like his brother and others on the weekends is what he does on the weekends, Bob.
And I had a chance to talk to him just about growing up with Mike McCarthy.

what Mike was like as a kid.
And everyone I spoke to around there, including Bert, who owns an auto shops place down the street, you know, remembers Mike McCarthy as a kid.
And you could see signs of a leader back then.
And again, like I told you earlier in the show, walking up and down that block with these endless houses separated by a couple of feet, just a classic scene.
And to think that,
That a guy from this tiny little block in Greenfield would go on to coach three of the iconic franchises in the NFL is just a miracle.
The Packers, the Cowboys, and the Steelers.
And one of the funny parts of the story was, what did all of you people think when Mike dropped this address during his introductory news conference?
What was running through your mind?
And they were all like, we couldn't believe it.
People are going to be coming to the house now, left and right.
