I think it's just sort of delaying the next stage they need to get into.
And maybe the first stage they need to get into is to lose for a year.
So maybe Will Howard would be a good plan.
Because in case he stinks, they could go 5-12.
This, to me, my initial reaction when they hired Mike was they just rehired Mike Tomlin.
And Art said he wanted to run it back.
And he pretty much is.
Well, then he'd be fully on the Brady plan.
I just think this is a bad plan.
If this is the plan, it's a bad one.
Could they go 9-8 again, 10-7, whatever they were?
They were 10-8 in the end for the third straight year.
It's hard for me to believe many people would.
I guess, Bob, if you do bring in another receiver, your offensive line, some of the young guys there are a year older.
McCarthy, better offensive coach than Arthur Smith.
I guess it could work well.
Maybe for a playoff win, but that feels like the ceiling.
I would agree with that.
