But the senior leadership has been, you've got this layer of bureaucrat, dectocrat, and there's a reason why we've got that.

and it's been illuminated, and everyone's looking and going, this is not right.

We had senior leaders who tried to rebuild the organisation in their own image.

The former CDF, now our NATO ambassador, the then Chief of Army, Angus Campbell, never served in the Army as a brigadier.

Hmm.

If you become an RSM, you have employment category standards in rank.

You must have served and demonstrated your competence to achieve that appointment, yeah?
