So do not speak on behalf of the regiment.
You talk about your service and people should not afford Andrew any more kudos than a junior officer who had a tough time
And thanks for your service, mate.
But he does not define the SAS character.
He has very limited insights and he has very low credibility to talk much about the martial war fighting identity of the regiment because he had a very limited window into it.
And I think he'd be the first to admit that.
And for the record, I had the wonderful opportunity to serve with Andrew when he was a cadet at Duntro and I was his commanding officer.
So I've got great respect for him.
I think Andrew is better in politics than out of it, but he's got to fight his own battles.
And in my view, you know,
Get active in your own rescue, mate, and pull your head in about telling me about SAS service.
I think he would reflect on how he managed his dilemmas, and he said it publicly.
You know, he had choices as a junior officer.
He didn't take them.
And then later, he spoke to journalists.
As I understand, that's what he said.
