No, no, no, no.
I'm not going to go and steal Al's thunder.
It's arguable that I am just as famous, if not more famous than Al.
So if I go there, people are going to want to take pictures with me.
They're going to want my autograph.
And I'm not going to steal Al's thunder on his coffee talk.
But I will tell you that I do have an idea of what Al deserves for his 25th anniversary with the station.
as the longest tenured producer in the history of station, and this is something that Oliveri and Hurls should take very seriously, because you have a colleague that's on his third stint with the station, and somehow he worked in a Phil Rizzuto clause into his contract where he gets to cut out early to beat traffic, like Phil Rizzuto used to leave the broadcast booth.
during Yankee games to beat the traffic across the bridge before the game let out.
So what Al deserves as a 25th anniversary gift from Oliveri and Hurls is to not have to come to work on Fridays during the summer.
He can work from home and do his producing job from home.
That would be a true 25th anniversary gift, being that he is on his only stint and he's the longest tenured producer in the history of the station.
Yeah, a bookstore would probably make more business that day than the entire history of their existence.
