and banter, that was really fun for me.

And I also loved going out into the field and doing big investigative stories, but following every little jot and tittle of the news cycle was not interesting to me.

It's kind of crazy, right?

Isn't that interesting?

Wow.

And it sounds like neither of us is in our marrow so much a news junkie.

Yeah, right.

So we like stories.

We like the act of hosting a show and interviewing people.

But being addicted to every little micro movement in the news cycle is not, we're just not, that's not how we're wired.

I don't miss it.

In fact, when I, I mean, I do follow the news.

I'm not actually not a low information voter.

I tend to like listen to podcasts and read subsects.

But I don't watch TV news.

As you know, I listen to people.

I was on the phone with a colleague, a former colleague of mine now works for a cable news outlet, not your former employer.

she was outside the courthouse covering the Trump trial, and I was like, I am so glad that I am not there.

I don't miss that.
