We took the most functional civilization in the history of human beings.
And when I say functional, I mean economic power, military power, and the way that the English common law had developed over the years. And we brought it here, and we gave it to Jefferson and Thomas Paine and John Stuart Mill and people like this, and they refined it into what is the best country that's ever existed and probably will ever exist on this fucking planet.
