Although I do believe this year it's going to be a much stronger league.

I think the new hires and the commitments that programs have made are going to make the conference play a lot more difficult.

And, you know, so that's part of it.

I mean, the other part of it, too, is it's dollars and cents, really.

I mean, they cost you money.

to pay a low major or a mid-major to come and play you at home, right?

It costs you money to pay them to come play you, whereas when you play one of these big non-conference games, you make money.

And now that we're paying the players,

Now that we're in web share, you know, it makes sense, you know, for us as coaches to play games that are going to not cost your school money, but make money for your school so that the coaches and the players, you know, you're bringing in revenue, not taking money away from the school.

So I don't.

You know, like you don't get penalized for losing games like the ones that we're going to embark on in a non-conference.

You know, like you don't have to win every one of them.

You just got to win your fair share of them.

If you do that, you put yourself in great position, not only getting in a tournament,

But from a seating standpoint, so you obviously got to believe in your team.

But, you know, I hate coaching by games.

I feel worse the day I wake up to play those because, you know, you're worried about motivating your team.

And these guys can be sleepwalking or the fans at home going to be brutal and disinterested.

you it was like a two hour 15 minute practice against a team that was like one of the 25 worst teams in the country but you were like you were genuinely treating it as though you were facing a top 25 opponent and i think like caravan like tipped in a missed layup at the buzzer for us to go up 12 at halftime i mean it was as miserable as advertised that experience um

So, you know, it I mean, I love these big games and it gives you I mean, it identifies for you just like, you know, the three exhibitions.
