When I moved to Vegas, I had no money.
I was sleeping on, you know, talking about old guys coming up.
I was watching Brad.
When I was in college, Brad Tavares was on The Ultimate Fighter.
And when I made the move, Brad always, I didn't really know him that well, but we got to know each other.
We started, I trained at the MMA gym.
He came up in in Hawaii.
He was already out here in Vegas.
And he offered me to come out.
and sleep on his couch.
I had no money.
I came here with $27.
I bought a plane ticket and I was working and I was saving up money.
And then working in construction, you just could go weeks without work.
I spent all my money that I saved up.
The day came for my plane ticket and I had 27 bucks.
