But there's an archaeological site that's been an archaeological site since the the middle of the nineteenth century there, which is associated with whatever the historical event was that we now call the the Trojan War.
That's a hell of a mouthful because nobody knows the exact history of the of the Trojan War and the the the delineation between myth and history, but
it's it's an amazing place and this is this was somewhere that um I went because I was you know I've written this book about castles and I was trying to trace the origins of fortifications and of the human im you know, thinking about war in the West at any rate back to this this this moment which if it happened at all happened in about eleven eighty BC.
But then that there's an actual place which certainly since Roman times.
