I just sort of thought this is a fake competition that FIFA's crowbared into the calendar to make a load of money and I don't care who wins it.
And it's not it's I I I don't think it's prestigious that Chelsea won it, for example.

There there would have been this chasm and uh you know, a lot of the kind of legacy fans, as I as I think they were dubbed Matt, as I recall, you know, w w would have would have defected and and got behind AFC Liverpool and the Northern, you know, Ryman w w whatever.
Um but that there there would still have been this huge global audience.
Um But but to Matt's point, like I just can't see how the Premier League like could have continued.

and and if there was no race for Europe, look what's if Man City are playing in Manchester and Man United are playing a Manchester Derby in the Premier League in in late November and they're both they both know they're not going to win the title by this point, but they're also meeting in the European Super League on Wednesday night.
They're gonna weak play a weakened team in the Premier League and and potentially prioritise trying to win the super league.
So it I it just completely devalues the whole Premier League.
And and I and I I think had they been allowed to continue in the Premier League, I think we would have eventually got to a point fairly quickly where actually it was in everyone's best interest that they just left.
