Appearances
Yeah, it's good evening, both.
It's pretty shocking stuff, isn't it?
I have I must say right from the outset that I have actually reached out to the Secret Service and to the White House for comment on these allegations that were in Michael Wolff's book that was excerpted today where these claims were made.
And I'm yet to have any kind of response to it.
So at the moment, you know, there is no I don't have that side of the story.
But it is interesting that clearly, as Wolff characterizes it, she had such an infatuation, such a fixation.
such a close relationship with the president that it was clearly a concern to his staff and to his security team.
I'm sure you remembered in November, I think it was, the New York Times reported on these letters that came out that she had written to Donald Trump, which were filled with these, you know,
very, very interesting kind of affectionate lines.
I'm just trying to get the exact quotes where she was saying, I don't ever want to let you down.
You are all that matters to me, things like that.
So she clearly had a very strong personal admiration, let's say, for the president.
And it seems that this became, as Michael Wolff characterizes it, again, an open secret within Trump's staff.
So
Yeah, that's right.
And yeah, she would follow his golf cart around with the printer and the spare batteries ready to print things out so that he doesn't have to view things on screens, as is his preference, apparently.
A potential danger, yeah.
It is a lot.
It's interesting.
It's not exactly clear what the precise concern was.
