Rovers weirdly have this
There's this sleepy attitude sometimes around somebody's games where I'm not sure if people know how good they have it or they haven't been pushing their games in the area enough for these quieter games.
And that's only my point.
Tulsa too I'm disappointed now they come at me going well we have the highest average attendance in the country and they do but they have the biggest stadium and my point is the shame for me is that do you think it's complacency I kind of wonder is this a general thing that
fans can go, it's not really suspense or jeopardy.
It's not a game.
I can afford to miss this game.
And I get as well, it's a real family vibe in Tala versus other places.
It's a bit harder to get out to relative to like, you can get a bus to Bose and, you know, in a lot of cases, if you're in town and have a few points after, Tala, you can't really, it's not quite that type of experience.
It's a little bit different.
So I have sympathy for all of those points and I would defend them when it comes to like 7.45pm Monday kickoffs and
Thursday 8 o'clock kick-offs that's tough like on a school night with family audience I just was specifically it's Monday at 5 o'clock perfect weather I know there's a few Lewis and Dart issues on the Monday but you're thinking guys you have this amazing team you have this amazing maybe there's some promotion or stuff you can be doing to just fill the stadium for these days because the product is good enough have they as you said you're in Shell's country and Bowes I do feel like they've really captured the immediate hinterland they have yeah
Yeah, and the thing is, one thing in Rovers' credit, and maybe their season tickets are so reasonably priced that I think a lot of people get season tickets and then just won't show.
You know, because, and maybe that's
That feeds into the sort of the complacency sense of, oh, sure, it's only Waterford or Drogheda.
I would probably win that.
And look, their tickets, I don't know what the season ticket price is off the top of my head, but I know that they're good value.
And then two weeks previously, there was 9,200 people there for a friendly, or they were friendly for a derby against Bowes.
And yes, there would have been 1,500 away fans with that.
That was a cracking game.
