Yeah, yeah.

Now I'm gonna sound like the old man getting off my grasp, but I can do that now 'cause I am old.

And uh I have been in the game a long time, so I I'm gonna play that role here for a second.

We have so much intellectual uh int I'm not talking about the blue jays now.

Um, because I think they've got a really good balance of intellectual intelligence.

at actual um baseball men in their front office, which I call instinctive intelligence.

But uh I think it's the arrogance of intelligence that

permeates the game right now.

That

to me just is is teams are run by

uh spreadsheets and data points.

And when you get into a postseason

I can argue that there is more luck involved in winning and losing a series than skill.

very easily and argue that.

And I think I could win that argument.

And so to base your decisions on anything that happens in postseason, I think is actually arrogantly

Stupid.

because I think guys could just have a bad few games.

Or the ball might not bounce the right way, or a guy may come down with an illness, or just a million different things that could happen that could just create a negative flow around a club at a certain time.

And so when you're that close
