And so trying to at least hearing some laughs.
We're talking to Nate Margazzi.
The movie is The Breadwinner opens today.
He's encouraging theaters to charge a significantly reduced date rate to make going to see it more affordable.
Also, upcoming tour dates, Knoxville, Birmingham, Savannah, Greensboro, Fort Worth, Houston, Austin, Phoenix, San Jose, and San Diego.
How much did you write of this movie?
A lot of it's with my stand-up.
So I would say...
It was like a mix of just, you know, almost like my stand-up and a lot of stuff just went through it.
And then Dan Lagana would go and, you know, kind of put it all together.
But, I mean, Lagana definitely was the one that had to sit.
And he has written scripts and all that, so he sat and did that.
But it's heavily...
you know, there's, there's a lot of stuff in there that's like kind of from my standup and then we kind of molded it together.
But Dan definitely had to do more of the heavy lifting on the, the writing part of it.
It was nice to write it cause I could control what I say.
Like there's no crying.
I wasn't going to, you know, I wasn't putting any kind of like saying that I was like, I don't look like an idiot, you know, like no crying.
I was trying to know, like, big laughing for me.
