That anyone trying to stop you from saying anything is wrong.

And so like, this is how you end up with people like this.

And these people are positions of power and they will positions of power going forward.

And there's a lot of people like them.

Group chat is the technically correct term for this, but it makes it really sound like a bunch of college buddies shooting the shit.

And that's not what this is.

If it was a Slack channel or they said it in a meeting, it would be treated very differently.

But that's functionally what it is in 2025.

This has been a dark pod so far, I'd say.

And it may get darker yet.

But before we get to future darkness, I do want to say that these people may have power right now.

And they will have power for a while now, for another couple of years.

And so they get to implement these policies.

But no one should one second believe they are winning the argument or that the country is moving in this direction.

Stephen Miller, the people in this group chat, the House staffer with the swastika,

They are a minority.

They're a minority of the country.

They're a minority of their own party.

Much of what they believe is an anathema to most of the American people.

And there has been, it hasn't manifested itself yet in political outcomes, but there has been a severe backlash to this approach to immigration, to pluralism in this country.
