This year the Yankees have gotten some really good contributions from two guys.
Weathers has been really good, and Warren, who pitched last night, has been really good.
And they have reinforcements coming.
Brodan is already activated.
Derrick Cole seems like he's a couple of weeks away.
The Yankees similarly have the problem that the Jays did last year.
Too much starting pitching.
Who goes to the bullpen?
It's a great problem to have right now.
The Jays don't have it.
The Yankees have that issue.
And that's why I still think the Yankees are going to win the East.
I like the Rays.
I just think the Yankees are a better team.
But I will say this, I'm not as bullish on the Yankee bullpen as I've been in the past.
Bednar's been good, not great.
They have some issues in the seventh, eighth inning with Cruz and Hill.
They don't have a lot of swing and miss lockdown.
This is going to be a wild east, but I think, I hate to say this, and we're only in the second week of May, unless the Blue Jays get some of these pitchers back,
and they start getting some production out of guys that have been injured, I think they're playing for a wild card spot.
