It's always been strange to me to be put in these situations where I'm supposed to be familiar with it already or it's just like family.

This is your cousin.

You're supposed to have this innate connection to them or something like that.

When you're meeting people for the first time halfway across the world and being thrown into these speed dating family situations, you guys are linked forever now.

It was strange.

And I know that the people that were in my life and around me, I think all of them honestly, earnestly tried.

I don't have ill will towards any of them.

Even my dad.

I just, I can't anymore because seeing my parents as people and understanding that they're humans and they're fallible and...

We're all just the product of whatever we've been dealt in how we deal with it is something that I had to understand is I'm the product of this and how do I deal with that now that I have my own two little products at home?

I went to your album launch and it wasn't just you playing the music.

It was music you'd written and produced.

You were performing it.
