Tell me how you met Katie.

Oh, my God.

I'm so lucky.

I actually knew Katie already.

We had adjacent high school friends.

So we knew each other when we were younger.

And then I didn't see her for years and years and years and years and years.

So I'm in the oars at this point.

This is like 2006.

We'd just done our second album, and I'm at a bar one day, and I see this guy wearing a giant starter jacket.

So back in the days, they'd have these big Charlotte Hornet jackets, which were just notorious in the graffiti circle.

If you had that jacket, you were probably going to get robbed.

It was a big deal, you know?

So I walked in, and I saw this guy wearing a jacket like that, but instead of the Charlotte Hornets guy, it had a Welsh dragon on there.

And I was like, whoa, that's one of the coolest jackets I've seen with a thing that I'm familiar with.

So I just...

I stumbled up to the dude and said, hey, bro, that's the coolest jacket I've ever seen, man.

He's like, wow, that's a cool jacket too.

I don't know what I was wearing, but I said, thanks, brother.

And I bought him a beer and we started drinking and talking.
