And then his dad came over and I started drinking and talking with his dad.
And they're from Wales.
And they started telling me about Wales and they're from North Wales.
And I'm like, oh, I'm from South Wales and so and so.
And then his sister comes over and it's Katie.
And she said, how do you know my family?
Have you –
Do you know my brother Dan?
And I was like, oh, this is – oh, my goodness.
So I had the greatest introduction ever to her family.
He was called Dan as well?
Her brother's called Dan, yeah.
Right.
Yeah.
So you two got married.
You've got two kids now.
We do.
What did becoming a dad do to your sense of who you are, where you come from, all of that?
It gave me the drive to do a lot of tough things that I –
knew that I had to do, mostly discovering a lot of that culture that I had either lost or not had access to, because I knew that it was my responsibility to pass that down to them.
