And I didn't want to give them
The fractured learning that I had with a few words sparingly that I know, and I wanted to be able to be that resource for them big time.
How did you do that?
How did you reach out to them?
I started doing courses, lessons, as tertiary as it gets, to try and understand my culture and where I'm from.
Sorry, you couldn't just walk into the community one day and say I'm –
person that I would do that with is no longer here anymore that was my guy so my uncle Henry was the guy that gave me my my name Crowley he's the guy that introduced me to a lot of law and so that's the fellow that I would have lent on for everything so when he passed away that was my phone a friend you know and a lot of my family haven't been afforded the chance to learn their language and
And that was a big thing for me to try and undertake myself, you know?
It was a thing to not be scared of and just to understand that I have to be able to show the cool side of this and make it a nice, normal thing.

And it's like, oh, I do see that little dog, Daisy.
That's beautiful.
Like, she talks more Nut and Jerry than I do.
She can play more chords than I can at six years old.
It's annoying the way kids can do that, isn't it?
They're so talented.
They are not going to struggle for much.
And as we were saying earlier, sometimes I think about sprinkling a little bit of struggle over there just to give them some reality.
But it's easier this way.
I love the fact that they have no idea or concept of what a struggle is at the moment.
