Appearances
No, you know what I mean.
sort of get the Penguins running around a little bit.
They got them out of their composure a little bit.
And that certainly plays into the Philadelphia Flyers wheelhouse, if you will.
And I think also the Flyers are a team that came into the regular season.
I'm sorry, they came into the playoffs with a strong finish to the regular season.
What were they, a 3% chance at one point to make the playoffs?
That's the team you don't want to face in the first round.
Like, that's the team.
Like, the Penguins were fairly set.
They were dealing with a little bit of injuries, but they were fairly set in their spot.
And the Flyers were getting in, and they were rolling when they came in.
And eventually, I think that could wear off, right?
And it usually does wear off, but it's the last team you want to face in the first round, especially when you are not a dominant team yourself.
This isn't, you know, this year's version of Colorado Avalanche that the Philadelphia Flyers, excuse me, are facing, right?
So they came in playing really good hockey, and that to me has just been a carryover effect here with a lot of guys developing chemistry.
And on top of that, they added Porter Martone, who gave them that extra infusion of energy at a time where they had a lot of energy, but a little bit more of a burst would give them this type of burst.
So I think a lot of that is what you're seeing.
Well, I think he has.
He's got him bought in.
