When I wrote The Kid, which is a memoir about my then boyfriend, now husband and I adopting our son together, my mom wanted to read it and I sent her a copy with a couple of chapters removed and said, Yeah, honoring what you'd always said to me, that there are things a mom has a right not to know. I took the chapters out that you would probably not want to read, things you wouldn't want to know.

Sometimes it's hard to write things down when you think your sister or your mom are going to read them. I do know that just like I couldn't stop my mother from getting her hands on an unredacted copy of The Kid, if you're going to create an OnlyFans account, if you're going to submit your film to Hump, and thank you.
