you can understand how the drum tech might not be operating at like a sort of military grade stadium level yeah but no i was not good but we did have a laugh but the thing is and i think this is probably why we were late to success is because it's your fault you delayed our success it was a lot of just having a laugh and and you know it's funny like we had

we had no aspirations to be as big as the band is now.

Like we weren't aiming that high.

And so it makes sense to me that we sort of only got to where we got because that was as far as we could sort of imagine the band going.

And then as soon as we thought, oh, wait a minute,

I didn't even have a drum tape for that.

At Roundhouse, we had two crew.

Merge guy and the sound guy.

They all look at us.

Yeah, I mean, we always try and get the best support band we can because we want to sell as many tickets as we can.

Yeah.

Whereas we'd be like, no.

Yeah, I think that was our section president.

And I think when we booked that, the promoters for the shows were like, do we want to try and pay some more money for some big support?

And we had confidence in that line.
