And so McAdoo McAdoo was in, you know, Professor Fabless's class for about for a while and understandably so.
And most of the talk was around second base.
So let me divert over there for a second.
So McAdoo has played mostly third base, some first base, two games at second base last week for Buffalo.
Now, he was a second baseman in college for the most part at San Jose State, but he's been a third base, first base guy in the pros.
Where might the Blue Jays have more of a need for him with a lefty on the mound tonight in Trevor Rogers?
If you want to get every right-handed bat into the game, Springer's going to DH, Vlade's going to be at first, Okamoto's going to be at third.
Those are kind of non-negotiables.
So what could they do?
Sit Jimenez, move Clement to short, and play McAdoo at second, which is, I think, what they're going to do.
So McAdoo and Carlos Fablas were out at second base for about 20 minutes last
talking.
He wasn't taking ground balls or anything.
They were talking about situations and, and, and whatever.
So after about 15 minutes of, of out there, I had to bail.
So I didn't get a chance to talk to him.
I'm definitely going to meet him today and, and ask him some questions, but he's got an intriguing bat.
You know, he's cut down on the strikeouts taking more walks and,
He's not like he's not a crazy hit the ball 115 mile an hour guy, but he's he puts it in play pretty good.
And he's got eight home runs and eight home runs in whatever how many games it was a Buffalo 45, 48, something like that.
