I decided to go to a magic shop instead.

i don't want to give too much away my edinburgh show like fine i did it in melbourne but i'm like adding all the finishing touches and everything it's about crystals like healing crystals and i want i want a big magical finale that i'm working on and i've got like a mate who's a magician who's like taught me how to do some stuff but then there's some other things that i thought the best thing for me to do is to go to a magic shop and ask for their advice basically

And that was like the perfect day for me to do it, really.

Well, yeah.

I mean, when I go in there, it's quite clear to me that there is that dynamic.

There's the big, the big expert boss.

And then another guy who seems a bit out of his depth.

Bless him.

I go in and there's a few magicians sort of skulking around.

I was a magician when I was young, when I was 12 to 18 before I did comedy.

A really bad one.

But I can spot a magician.

Or when I find out that someone's a magician, I'm like, of course you are.

They're very clean.

They're similar to comics, but they're much cleaner and slicker.

And they were all in a magic shop as well.

That's important.

Yeah.

Yeah, their girlfriends have backward legs.

and there are doves just flying about everywhere and just rabbits all over the place of course there are all right so do you make a beeline for the head honcho you know this guy this guy this head honcho who i'm like this guy could i could tell instantly this guy could help me like so much but this guy is a livid like he's fuming not with me but with fucking everything
